Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on the 20th of July, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent for Space and Defense, Kristin Fisher covers all aspects of space from NASA to the newly created Space Force as well as commercial space firms as well as space tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now worked as a White House reporter for FOX News reporting on the Trump and Biden Administrations on space issues. Through her tenure, she reported on the presidential 2020 campaign, two impeachment trials and two attempts to prevent the corona virus pandemic, as well as two different administrations' initiatives. Her extensive travels with the President and Vice-President included an exclusive trip to Afghanistan, which she took together with Donald Trump. Prior to becoming a part of the company in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through local TV news markets in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she was awarded one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate.
